Who we are

The Cool Room is a trading name of Whyte Services Limited, an F-Gas certified air conditioning business (Refcom REF1022838). Registered in England and Wales, company number 16034855. Registered office: 201 Hillside Road, Hastings, TN34 2QY. VAT number 478562150. Email: whyteserviceslimited@gmail.com.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. Delivery is charged at checkout. We may cancel and refund an order if a price was shown in obvious error, or if an item becomes unavailable from our suppliers.

Your order

Your order is accepted when we email to confirm dispatch, or for split systems when we have verified your installer’s F-Gas certificate.

Installation and F-Gas

Split and multi-split systems contain fluorinated greenhouse gases and must, by law, be installed, commissioned and serviced by an F-Gas certified engineer. We only dispatch them once a valid certificate has been verified, or where we are installing them ourselves. We offer installation in the South East of England only; elsewhere we supply units for your own F-Gas certified installer. Monobloc and portable units are factory sealed and need no refrigerant work, but must be installed in line with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Warranty

Products carry the manufacturer’s warranty. Manufacturers may require proof of professional installation, commissioning and regular servicing for a claim to be valid.

Our liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We are not responsible for loss caused by incorrect installation by a third party, or by use not in line with the manufacturer’s instructions. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
